not such a lucky boy...
Summer told me today that she's not going to be here for my birthday. My parent's have organised a big bash in Sheffield for the night before, and then another one back home the weekend after. I was really looking forward to it, and I'm not sure that I'm looking forward to it more or less now that she's not gonna be here. I mean, she's great, but things have been a bit awkward lately. She's such high maintenance, sometimes I find myself thinking what an idiot I was to fall so hard for her. I think the honeymoon periods well and truly over, but then again that always happens. Summer puts a lot of pressure on us to be a perfect couple - everyone's always going on about us being the perfect couple (even though in private we're not) and she likes to play on that...
So, anyway, before I go rambling on about my mixed feelings for my gorgeous girlfriend, I'm pretty much looking forward to my birthday. The guys have got big plans for us back in Sheffield, a nice little joint birthday/house warming party for the new house we're moving into next week. My parents are going all out to throw me this massive party, and it was a bit overwhelming at first - i've always liked things pretty simple - although Summer's excitement over it got me in the mood for it. I dunno why but she's persuaded me to let her keep the £120 dress I bought her specially for it. Girls, eh?

Profile
I'm Josh. I'm 21, from Cambridge, UK. I'm going into my third year at Sheffield Hallam university, studying law, something that I was pretty much pushed into by my parents.
I guess I should mention my girlfriend, Summer, she'll go crazy if I don't tell you about her. We've been together for eight months now, she's hot.
I spend most of my free time playing sports - rugby, football, tennis, hockey. If I'm not running around I'm at the gym, and hanging out with the guys. It's an easy life, eh :)
